Frequently Asked Questions
What can we expect from our initial session?
The initial session lasts up to 75 minutes and offers space for us to understand what brings you to therapy, explore the difficulties you may be facing, and consider what you hope might change.
It is also an opportunity to experience how I work and to reflect on whether the space feels right for you both.
How often will we meet?
Sessions are usually held weekly, particularly at the beginning of our work, as this provides consistency and helps create momentum within the therapeutic process. Over time we can review what feels most supportive for you both. I see clients in person or online. We can discuss what feels best and most practical.
What if one of us is unsure about therapy ?
It is very common for partners to feel differently about begining therapy. You are welcome to attend the initail session even if one of you are uncertain- we can gently explore any hesitations together.
What are your fees ?
Couples sessions are £100 for 60 minutes. The initial session lasts 75 minutes.
What happens after we get in touch ?
Once you make contact, I will respond to arrange an initial session and provide any information you may need before hand.
How will we know if therapy is helping?
Couples often begin to notice shifts in how they communicate, understand one another and navigate moments of difficulty. We will make space to reflect together on the process of our work and what feels meaningful for you.
